“Senzo” is Languedoc’s Pinot Noir, where only 1000 bottles have been produced. Mylène has “played” with the name and called it “Senzo”, as the wine consists exclusively of the Cinsault grape. The very old vines (77 years) express class. You are seduced by the “nose” of rosewood, cloves, and red fruits. Deep tannins and a clear imprint of a “terroir” in “Kratland”, Garrigue – Southern France. The wine is stored in steel tanks for 5 months.
The French wine magazine “la Revue du Vin de France” (France’s only serious wine magazine, as Jancis Robinson says) gives the wine 94/100 points. We understand why!
Senzo can easily be enjoyed alone or with light meat dishes and cheese.
Domaine Mylène Bru started in 2008, when Mylène Bru bought 4 hectares of vines. Here she stood without water, electricity and had overall very difficult conditions for producing wine. Mylène is a trained oenologist, and she really knows what she is doing. Her wines are not experiments she sends to the market. Everything is done deliberately. She produces top natural wines with a fascinating personality and passion. Mylène’s wines express nature, authenticity, daring and honesty. Her wines are enjoyed at several Michelin restaurants in France, and the French icon actress Catherine Deneuve is among Mylène’s fans.
