“Les Cinq Elements” (The Five Elements) is from 50–65-year-old vines. The wine has an intense red color, fine and elegant nose with aromas of red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, and blackcurrants). Silky tannins with good length in the mouth.

Les Cinq Elements goes well with white meat, fish in sauce, poultry, meat dishes, lamb, and wild.

Domaine de l’R is located on a large gravel plain on the right bank of Vienne in the heart of Chinon. Frédéric Sigonneau is trained in Spain (Dominio de Atauta, Ribera del Duero), and returned to France in 2004, where he founded his property three years later on the remains of the family property in Cravant les Coteaux. In 2015, Frédéric returned to the property’s original 8 hectares, which “just waited to be awakened”. Frédéric has always made use of organic methods. He uses neither herbicides nor pesticides.
