“Le Verger” is golden with aroma and taste of green fruits, white flowers, citrus, exotic fruits, dried berries, and honey. The wine is lively with a round body in good balance with creamy fruity freshness.
Le Verger is good as an apéritif or for seafood, sushi, and grilled fish.
Domaine de la Palud is in the south of the town of Orange in the Rhône area. Marie-Laure Grangeon produces top wines with “know-how” handed down from her ancestors. Domaine de la Palud has been the family property since 1841 and prior to that the vineyard belonged to a Provencal noble family for five centuries. On the vineyard there is still a building (a tower) dating back to the 14th century.
Marie-Laure Grageon’s wines are splendid examples of what the Châteauneuf-du-Pape district and the Côtes du Rhône have to offer.
