Notre-Dame des Anges is a new dimension to the Côtes de Provence classification, and 2019 is the very first vintage from the high-lying fields north-west of Saint-Tropez. It is a new exclusive appellation that only nine independent wine producers and some cooperatives have at their disposal. The geographical location of the Notre-Dame des Anges appellation provides optimal conditions for very high-quality grapes. The Journel family marks this new rosé with an elegant bottle, the bottom of which is shaped like a diamond. Nothing less.

The wine has a beautiful pink color with complex notes of roses and lychee (the fruit of love). A very fine harmony between red fruits and spices, which gives the wine a fruity finish.

The wine is good as an apéritif or for light summer dishes, grilled food with olives and cherry tomatoes. The wine also goes well with cheeses or fruit-based desserts.

Château Demonpère is in the heart of the sunny Côtes de Provence, where its vineyards have been cultivated since the 15th century. Today, the place is owned by Géraldine and Yves Journal, who care a lot about ecology and sustainability. At the same time, they can boast of having received several medals, and be known for their elegance in everything from content to bottle and label.
