Château Demonpère, Notre-Dame des Anges 2019
Côtes de Provence
AOC Côtes de Provence
Notre-Dame des Anges is a new dimension to the Côtes de Provence classification, and 2019 is the very first vintage from the high-lying fields north-west of Saint-Tropez. It is a new exclusive appellation that only nine independent wine producers and some cooperatives have at their disposal. The geographical location of the Notre-Dame des Anges appellation provides optimal conditions for very high-quality grapes. The Journel family marks this new rosé with an elegant bottle, the bottom of which is shaped like a diamond. Nothing less.
Grapes: 70% Grenache & 30% Cinsault
Château Demonpère is located in the heart of sunny Côtes de Provence and its vineyards are cultivated since the 15th century (in ancient times the winery was called Domaine de la Pardiguière). Today Château Demonpère is owned by the Journel family who proudly makes one of the best, most elegant and tasteful organic Rosé wines you can get. The soil is exceptional and the sunny Mediterranean climate in the South of France is exceptionally good for wine growing.
