Monge Granon, Châtillon en Diois.
This Chardonnay wine has aromas of exotic fruits and notes of nuts. 100% Chardonnay grapes harvested by hand. With its round and fresh taste, it is perfect as an aperitif and for salad and fish dishes / sushi, open sandwiches, pizza and more. Dry and fruity, enjoyed at 7-9 degrees Celsius.
The vineyard was established in 1985 by the Monge and Granon families, two winegrowing families for four generations. The Monge Granon vineyard covers 37 HA (86,48 AC) – located in the heart of the Clairette de Die area. Located in the heart of the Rhône valley, dominated by mountains, their vineyard grows on rocky and steep mountain slopes, among the highest in France. Their wonderful wines are due to the changing weather with alpine influences and Provencal sun, severe winters and dry summers.
