Grape: 100% Pinot Gris (harvested by hand)
Alcohol: 12% VOL.
“Bonnet Orange” has a gentle nose with notes of lime, lemon, melon, and nectarine. Similar taste with discreet tannins and balanced acidity. A very fresh and easy-drinking orange wine in fine balance.
Vinification where 50% is macerated for 12 days followed by fermentation and development in an underground concrete tank, and 50% macerated for one month followed by fermentation and development in an egg-shaped 700-liter terracotta container.
Bonnet Orange is good as an apéritif or for light starters.
Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is run by the brothers Jean-Jacques and Rémi Bonnet. The brothers strive to reflect the diversity and minerality of the terroir: gneiss, amphibolite, and granite.
