“SO2” is an atypical wine, which is also reflected on the label. It is a wine that stands out from the crowd and that dares to stand alone. Intense red color, aroma and taste of red fruits and has a slight bubbling effect on the palate. If you want to stand out from the crowd, bring a bottle of SO2 under your arm for your upcoming dinner… The wine does not contain added sulphur. The grapes are treaded by foot everyday for 3 weeks.

SO2 goes well as an apéritif, tapas and charcuterie.

Domaine de l’R is located on a large gravel plain on the right bank of Vienne in the heart of Chinon. Frédéric Sigonneau is trained in Spain (Dominio de Atauta, Ribera del Duero), and returned to France in 2004, where he founded his property three years later on the remains of the family property in Cravant les Coteaux. In 2015, Frédéric returned to the property’s original 8 hectares, which “just waited to be awakened”. Frédéric has always made use of organic methods. He uses neither herbicides nor pesticides.
