Grapes: 70% Grenache & 30% Syrah

Alcohol: 14% VOL.

The wine has a nice deep ruby red color with aromas of morello cherries, red fruits and spices. The wine has an intense fruity taste with notes of laurel, thyme and morello cherry wrapped in round balanced tannins. A good body with a good long aftertaste. The wine is stored in cement tanks.

The wine goes well with chacuterie, grilled meats, cheeses, and spicy dishes.

Domaine de la Palud is in the south of the town of Orange in the Rhône area. Marie-Laure Grangeon produces top wines with “know-how” handed down from her ancestors. Domaine de la Palud has been the family property since 1841 and prior to that the vineyard belonged to a Provencal noble family for five centuries. On the vineyard there is still a building (a tower) dating back to the 14th century.

Marie-Laure Grageon’s wines are splendid examples of what the Châteauneuf-du-Pape district and the Côtes du Rhône have to offer.
